Hawick primary children had the chance to meet shortlisted children's authors Rachel Bright and Tracey Alexander during special schools visits May.
Writer and illustrator Rachel Bright visited pupils at Trinity and Denholm Primary Schools and read from 'What does Daddy Do?'', a picture book for 4-7s about what fathers get up to when they go off to work. The children at Denholm made cards for their dads and the Trinity pupils made a superhero called 'Trinity Man'!
